Meditation... You can start right NOW!
Meditation can seem daunting to begin. Many people think that they can't meditate because they don't know how. It's actually much simpler than people may think.
Let's give it a go right now! You just need 3 minutes!
Sit in a relatively quite space (if possible) bring your hands palm to palm in the center of your chest. (This balances the right and left hemispheres of your brain.)
Now take a few long breaths, deep into your belly, allowing your diaphragm to begin to expand.
Continue this long deep breathing. Close your eyes and focus them upward and inward to the place in between your eyebrows. (This stimulates the Pituitary Gland to secrete, which is the master gland and is also associated with your intuitive nature.)
As thoughts arise, just let them go as quickly as they come. As if you are sitting on a bench, watching a busy street and cars are whizzing by. You have no attachment to the cars. Begin to practice non-attachment to your thoughts.
When 3 minutes is up, take a deep breath and press your palms firmly together, squeezing your entire body, then exhale, keeping the spine tall and in-joy the effects!
